Important changes to the way you submit and manage your cases
What's changed?
You can now submit and manage residential, new business cases on our MSO system.
Residential new build and interest-only cases will need to be submitted via our Coventry for intermediaries platform as usual, as well as when any client is borrowing into retirement and/or aged 56 or over, is a daily rate contractor or is using sources of income from multiple employments.
When submitting business on MSO, there are a few things you’ll need to know.
- For your self-employed cases you’ll need to download our Accountant’s certificate and send this to your client’s accountant to complete
- Pension contributions don’t need to be inputted – these are calculated with the affordability as a derived figure
- Child benefit and child maintenance can both be entered as acceptable sources of income (subject to lending criteria)

Using your Coventry for intermediaries 6 digit introducer code and password, log in here to submit and manage the following new business cases:
- Buy to Let
- Residential new build
- Residential interest-only
- Your client is aged 56 or over
- Your client’s mortgage term goes beyond their retirement age and/or their retirement age is greater than 70
- Daily rate contractor
- Using sources of income from multiple employments

- Residential new business*
- Offset new business*
- Like-for-like product transfers (exc. portfolio landlords)
For all other cases, including porting and further advances, you will need to complete the relevant application forms and send them to us via secure mail at intermediaries@thecoventry.co.uk.
